Meet Bianca

“Psalm 46:5 — God is within her, she will not fall;
    God will help her at break of day.”

As a young girl Bianca always had a niche for hair. In fact, every doll she was gifted was unintentionally beautified (with scissors, that is). Not knowing much about hair, she began to experiment on her mother, cousins, school friends, aunts, etc. with basic styles and braiding techniques. It wasn’t until early 2012 that she decided to take her gift seriously and enroll into the prestigious Aveda Institute South in Washington DC. Learning from the best educators in the city, Bianca learned more than she imagined. From foiling, to haircuts, formulating and so much more. In 2013 Bianca attended the International Beauty Show (IBS) Hair Convention in

Manhattan, New York where she took advanced cutting and coloring classes by trained professionals from all over the world. She then graduated as one of the top students achieving many awards and recognition's. After graduation, Bianca applied to many jobs in the DC area and landed a 5yr position at Salon Rouge in DuPont Circle. Over the next few years Bianca learned different color lines, understanding tones and level, perfecting precision cuts, installing seamless extensions, AND mastering balayage. Determining what shaping and framing can do to a lifeless haircut, along with

having an excellent eye for detail brought in trust and many frienships from her clientele. Now, being experienced in working with all hair textures, from curly, fine, and coarse textured hair from all ethnicity - Bianca was shutting down the limitations and propelling like no other. With the help of celebrity hands-on and business classes, she used her skill from Aveda, hard working ethics and natural instincts to work her way to where she is today. In 2018 Bianca expanded her career and partnered up with her Aveda sister.

In 2020, a little before COVID-19, the two went their separate ways while Bianca remained at L’Enfant Plaza where she transitioned deeper in her passion and now runs “SUITE OBZ”. Suite OBZ is a space to relax, unwind, and release for the everyday working girl. While hair and scalp care is OOOBEEXZYs main focus — teaching curly girls about retaining growth and health has become a major highlight; thus the recent uploads on her Youtube channel. The channel is entended to undo the idea that hair types 3&4 are unruly and unmanageable. Hopefully with help from those who can adapt, CURLY GIRLS (and anyone else) can see the beauty in their texture — just as much as OOOBEEXZY.
